Currently (February 2009) construction continues on the Arkansas approach to the new Greenville Bridge. The turnoff to State Highway 142 and Lakeport Plantation is at the foot of this construction.

Travelers coming from Arkansas will see road signs marking Highway 142 and the right-hand turn to Lakeport.

Travelers coming from Mississippi will also see signage for Highway 142. Prior to the turn, you will see a Junction 142. At the turn, however, there is not a sign for Hwy 142, but a sign US Highway 82/278 and the distance to Lake Village. This signage and the left-hand turn onto Highway 142 are pictured below.
