Ruth O’Loughlin, Site Director
Ruth develops educational programs, helps curate the collections for the Lakeport Plantation and serves as office manager. O’Loughlin received her B.S. in History from Central Michigan University and M.S. in Education-Library Media and Information from Southern Arkansas University. Previously, she has served as Museum Assistant for the Midland County Historical Society in Midland, MI and most recently worked at Lakeside Elementary School in Lake Village, AR as a fifth-grade teacher and librarian.

Katie Wells, Museum Registrar
Katie, a Greenville, MS native, gives tours, assists with programs and helps curate the collections for Lakeport Plantation. Wells received her B.A. in History from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS.

Dr. Adam Long, Executive Director
Adam is Executive Director of Arkansas State University Heritage Sites, which includes overall responsibilities for policies and programs at the Southern Tenant Farmers Museum in Tyronza, Lakeport Plantation in Lake Village, the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center in Piggott, and the Historic Dyess Colony: Johnny Cash Boyhood Home in Dyess.
